Review teacher comments

Who this is for: Counsellors Time: 2-5 minutes You'll need: Access to the student's profile page

What this does

Use the Teacher Comments tab to review teacher feedback for a student and identify themes that may need follow-up.

Before you begin

  • Open the student from your Students list.
  • Open the student's profile page.

Steps

1. Open the student's profile

Go to Students and select the student you want to review.

2. Select Teacher Comments

On the student profile page, select Teacher Comments.

3. Read the comments

Each comment can include:

  • teacher name
  • comment label
  • date
  • the full teacher comment

4. Review the summary if one appears

If comments are available, Addie may also show a Summary below the comments.

Use this when you want a quicker read before going line by line.

5. Look for themes that need follow-up

Focus on repeated strengths, concerns, or support needs.

For example, look for:

  • repeated academic concerns
  • class participation patterns
  • organization or attendance issues
  • positive growth or improvement

6. Ask Addie follow-up questions if needed

Use the right-side Addie chat panel to ask for a summary or help preparing next steps.

For example:

  • Summarize the main teacher concerns for this student.
  • What should I ask the student about in our next meeting?

What happens next

  • You can compare teacher comments with Student Data or Conversations.
  • You can use the comments to prepare for outreach or a meeting.
  • You can save useful Addie responses to the student's notes.
