Create a journey

What this does​

Build a journey — a sequence of conversations assigned to a student — so you can assign multiple conversations to students as one unit, in order.

Before you begin​

  • Sign in as a counselor.
  • Know which conversations you want to include, or plan to add them after creating the journey.

Open Conversations​

Select Conversations from the left-hand navigation.

Select Create Journey​

Select Create Journey.

Enter a title, identifier, and description​

Enter a Title (at least 4 characters). Addie fills in an Identifier for internal use automatically from the title — edit it yourself if you want something different.

Add a Description so your team knows what the journey covers.

Select Create​

Select Create to save the journey as a draft, then add conversation steps to build out its sequence.

What happens next​

  • The journey is saved as a draft with one starting step.
  • You can keep adding steps, then publish and assign it once it's ready.

If something looks wrong​

Create is disabled​

  • Enter a title of at least 4 characters — Create stays disabled until then.
  • Assign a journey
  • Create a conversation
