Review a student
1. Open the student's profile
Select the student from your roster to open their profile page.
The Student toolbar shows all the ways you can view and interact with the student's profile.
2. Start with Overview
Use Overview for a quick first pass.
This tab is best when you want to understand the student quickly before going deeper.
3. Open Student Data when you need school data
Use Student Data to review academic records connected to the student.
You can check:
- enrollments
- classes
- courses
4. Open Teacher Comments when you want staff feedback
Use Teacher Comments to read feedback from teachers.
5. Open Conversations to review assigned work
Use Conversations to review the student's assigned conversations, progress, and completed work.
This is the best place to see what the student has or has not finished.
6. Open General Chat to review open-ended chat history
Use General Chat to review past free-form chat sessions the student had with Addie.
Select any session to open the message history.
7. Open Files or Majors when needed
Use Files when you need uploaded documents.
Use Majors when you want to review college or major exploration.
8. Ask Addie follow-up questions
Use the chat panel on the right side of the page to ask questions about what you are seeing.
For example:
- What stands out about this student?
- What should I discuss in my next meeting?
- Summarize the biggest themes across this student's activity.
What happens next
- You can stay on the same profile and keep moving between tabs.
- You can ask Addie follow-up questions in the side chat.
- You can decide whether the student needs outreach, support, or a follow-up meeting.
If something looks wrong
A tab looks empty
- The student may not have data in that area yet.
- Try another tab, like Overview, Conversations, or General Chat.
You cannot find what the student completed
- Check Conversations first for assigned work.
- Check General Chat for open-ended chat sessions.
You want a faster summary
- Ask Addie in the right-side chat panel for a summary.
- Ask about one area at a time, like teacher comments or conversation progress.
