Publish a conversation

What this does​

Publish a conversation so it's ready to be assigned to students. Until then, it stays a draft that only your team can see.

Before you begin​

  • Open a saved conversation draft.
  • Confirm the content is ready for students.

Open the draft conversation​

Select Conversations from the left-hand navigation, then select the draft you want to publish.

Review the content​

Check the conversation format, prompts, and any settings before publishing — students will see it as soon as it's live.

Select Publish​

Select Publish. The button updates to show Published once it's live.

What happens next​

  • The conversation can now be added to a journey and assigned to students.
  • You can keep editing a published conversation — changes apply the next time it's used.

If something looks wrong​

Students still cannot see the conversation​

  • Confirm the button now reads Published, not Publish.
  • A conversation still needs to be assigned (usually through a journey) before a student sees it — publishing alone does not assign it.
