Continue a conversation

What this does​

Pick up an Addie conversation where you left off.

Before you begin​

  • You must already have started the conversation once.
  • Sign in to Addie with the same school email you used before.

Open Home or Conversations​

You can continue an in-progress conversation from either page.

Find the conversation marked In progress​

Look for the conversation you already started.

  • On Home, the Up next card may show Continue.
  • On Conversations, the conversation appears in Up next with an In progress status.

Open the conversation​

Select the conversation to return to its detail page.

Select Continue​

The button label may vary based on how the conversation works:

  • Continue
  • Continue on Web
  • Continue on Call
  • another continue option based on your school settings

Keep going from where you left off​

Addie opens the conversation at its current state.

Depending on the conversation, you may:

  • continue answering questions
  • keep chatting with Addie
  • review earlier answers before continuing
  • switch to another available way to continue

What happens next​

  • Your progress stays attached to the same conversation.
  • When you finish, the conversation moves to Completed.
  • Your next conversation may unlock after that.

If something looks wrong​

I cannot find the conversation I started​

  • Check Conversations and look in Up next or Completed.
  • If you already finished it, it may no longer show as in progress.

The conversation is locked now​

  • You may be looking at a different conversation that has not unlocked yet.
  • Return to the one marked In progress.

I want to switch how I continue​

  • Some conversations show Other ways to continue.
  • Use that option if your school allows text, web, or call choices.
  • Start your next conversation
  • Join or request a call
