Explore colleges

What this does​

The Explore tab shows a starter college list — a starting point based on your program interests, academic profile, and stated preferences.

It's meant to open up a conversation, not settle one. Bring it to your counsellor to talk through fit — things like campus culture, advising style, and day-to-day life are best confirmed together.

Before you begin​

  • Sign in to Addie.
  • Open Colleges from the navigation, then select the Explore tab.

Review the starter list​

Each college shows a likelihood label — Possible target, Potential likely option, or More selective — alongside the school's location.

These labels are a starting signal, not a guarantee either way.

Narrow it down​

Use the Location and Likelihood filters, or the search bar, to find what you're looking for. Select Addie Recommended to see only the schools Addie surfaced for you specifically.

Add colleges that interest you​

Select a college to add it to your shortlist. If a school you're considering isn't listed, select Add a college program to my list to add it yourself.

What happens next​

  • Colleges you add move to your shortlist for closer tracking.
  • You can keep exploring and adding as your preferences change.

If something looks wrong​

The Explore list looks empty or incomplete​

  • Refresh the page.
  • Check whether your school has enabled this part of Addie.
