Manage your college shortlist

What this does​

Your shortlist is the list of colleges you're actually considering. Build it from colleges Addie surfaces in Explore, or add a school yourself.

Before you begin​

  • Sign in to Addie.
  • Open Colleges from the navigation.

Add colleges from Explore​

On the Explore tab, Addie shows a starter list based on your program interests, academic profile, and stated preferences. Select a college to add it to your shortlist.

Use the Location and Likelihood filters, or the search bar, to narrow the list down.

Or add a college yourself​

If a college you're considering isn't already suggested, select Add a college program to my list from Explore, or Add a college from the My Shortlist tab.

Enter the school name. Program name and location are optional — if you search for a specific program, the school and location fill in automatically.

Review your shortlist​

Open the My Shortlist tab to see everything you've added, with the same Location and Likelihood filters available to sort through it.

What happens next​

  • Your shortlist stays saved to your profile and updates as you add or remove schools.
  • Bring your shortlist to your counsellor — likelihood labels are a starting point, not a verdict, and things like campus culture, advising style, and day-to-day fit are best worked through together.

If something looks wrong​

My Shortlist is empty​

  • Add a college from the Explore tab, or select Add a college to enter one yourself.

A college is missing details like location​

  • Location and program are optional. Edit the entry to add them, or leave them blank.

  • Log a college experience
