Letters of recommendation and meeting transcription for counselors
This update gives counselors two new ways to turn what they already know about a student into finished work: a draft letter of recommendation, and a searchable record of their meetings.
New for counselors
- Letter of Recommendation helps you draft a letter from a student's record. Pick a student and Addie shows the facts it will draw on, such as teacher comments, the student's own words, and your notes, each with its source. Add optional direction to steer tone or content, then generate a draft you can edit right in the page. Export it by copying to the clipboard, or as a PDF or Word document. This is available only for schools that have it enabled.
- Meetings lets you record or upload a meeting, label who is speaking, and get an AI-generated summary you can save to a student's notes. You can tie a meeting to a student or keep it as a general meeting that only you can see.
- Before a live recording starts, Addie now shows a consent script to read to everyone in the meeting. The microphone stays off until you confirm that everyone agrees.
